In 2015, the Irish Minister for the Environment, Community & Local Government and the Minister for Housing, Planning & Co-ordination of Construction 2020 announced Ireland’s first ever public private partnership (PPP) for the delivery of social housing. This plan would provide over 500 social homes as this model had previously been used successfully in Ireland to build a number of roads and schools projects.
Mulligan Fencing were awarded the contract for the Concrete Post & Timber Panel fence installation at developments in Naas Co. Kildare, Clondalkin Co. Dublin, Dunleer Co. Louth and Wicklow Town.
Mulligan Fencing manufactured the timber ‘Hit & Miss’ panels at our ISO accredited, pre-fabricated panel system so that we could guarantee consistent quality every time.
Once on-site, our fencing operatives installed the concrete posts in addition to the gravel board at the base. The timber panels were then slotted in neatly to the concrete ‘H’ posts. The result was a beautifully private fence for each house to compliment the overall development.
